Bengaluru’s deep-tech startup ToneTag raises ₹35 crore from Qualcomm Ventures

Tonetag, a deeptech startup focused on sound-based payment systems, has raised Rs 35.16 crore ($3.8 million) from Qualcomm Ventures, according to ministry of corporate affairs documents. The round follows last year’s $78 million funding from ValueQuest, Iron Pillar and Elevate Capital. The company did not disclose the investment size publicly.
